Abandoned Wooden Jetty

I wanted to take this drone’s top-down view of this worn out abandoned jetty in Kwinana for some time. Waiting for the right conditions to capture this jetty. A long, disused jetty stretching into clear turquoise water along the Kwinana coast. The structure appears weathered and skeletal, with rusting beams and missing sections revealing its age and abandonment. 

A solid rectangular platform sits to one side, contrasting with the exposed woodener framework that runs the jetty’s length. Near the far end, broken pylons and debris trail into the sea, hinting at decay and years of erosion. The surrounding water is calm and luminous with brilliant summer a turquoise ocean shifting from pale aqua to deeper blue, emphasizing the stark, industrial geometry of the jetty against the natural coastal setting.
