Aldeyjarfoss Iceland

Aldeyjarfoss and its spectacular basalt columns rising straight from the earth. What an amazing landscape and no one around but me and my camera.

I scouted around for quite some time to try and find the perfect point of view and in the end I realised the best view was almost right in front with the texture of the water as it his the base of the falls the real star of the scene.

Once I had realised that is was quite easy to shoot this image and bring the textures and fell of Aldeyjarfoss back as a print image
