Black Sand Beach Vik Iceland

The small town of Vik on the south coast of Iceland has the most amazing black beach sand and sea stacks that lie just off the shoreline …

With this in mid I wanted to try and capture all the elements that make this location stunning in its visual appeal. The black sand, sea stacks, dark seas and this amazing cliff face that shears right off into the dark ocean.

I managed to find this small rounded pure black pebble as some foreground contrast to the whole scene and drawing you into this stunning landscape of Vik in Iceland.
