Burney Falls California

Burney Falls California lies in the McArthur -Burney Falls Memorial State Park. The falls themselves are 129 feet high and around 3 times as long. It has been reported that some 379 Million litres of water each day flows over the falls, simply amazing.

Access to the bottom was not possible on my visit so during my time there I took one panoramic image ( also on my site ) I also took a more complex image showing the foliage that was starting to turn with the fall colour season.

I waited till late afternoon and the sun to go behind the ridge line so the light was even and I could take a little longer exposure bring out the flow of the falls and the colour of the trees. A single shot exposure that I think captures the falls beautifully showing.
