California Golden Fall Colours

In the foothills of the Sierra Mountains you can easily find pockets California aspen fall color. On my last trip to California one of the special images I want to take was a nice fall colour image of the Aspens.

After driving around for a couple of days looking for the right location to shoot I found this small groove of Aspens just outside of Lee Vining. In the early morning light with little or no breeze made the conditions perfect for the image I had in mind.
