Cradle Mountain Tasmania

Cradle Mountain Tasmania, one of the most photographed places in Australia but also one of the hardest to capture nice light at the location. Being where it is it is subject to wild swings in weather from clear blue skies to heavy overcast and even snow storms at just a moments notice.

On this occasion I spent two days shooting the area in conditions ranging from total clear conditions to total overcast where I could not even see the mountain. Luckily I did manage to get a short break in the weather one even to take this image.
