Eagle Falls Lake Tahoe California

Lower Eagle Falls at Lake Tahoe is stunning even from the winding road that leads up to the falls. Overlooking Emerald Bay Lower Eagle Falls is quite an easy falls to hike to with a carpark just a short distance away.

On this particular morning I hiked to a lower part of the falls to try and capture the falls face on. Not for the faint of heart as the shear drop afterwards looks quite serious. I took my time and made sure I never went further than I was completely comfortable with.
