El Capitan Valley Yosemite National Park

El Capitan dominates the valley inside Yosemite National Park. Along with Half Dome these two monoliths of granite can be seen at any point within the Yosemite Valley.

This image was captured along the Merced RIver after a full day of rain the previous day. The low clouds together with the high wispy cloud add character and contrast to the shear wall of granite that is El Capitan
