Haleakala National Park Volcano Maui

Haleakala National Park and the remains of the Volcano that once made the island of Maui. At around 10,000 feet the crate of Haleakala is a huge area that looks like something fro the planet mars. Its beauty lies in the stark nature of the area and the colours of the earth and the way the light plays with the many textures of the crater.

The interior of the crater is doted with cinder cones, these stunning formations of the past activity of the volcano gives you a sense of what the bubble inferno this must of once been. An amazing place to photography.
