Half Dome Yosemite

One of the most memorial hikes I have done inside Yosemite National Park is the hike to Mirror Lake. Coming up to Mirror Lake you come up and very close and personal with one of Yosemite's most dominate and impressive features, Half Dome.

Looking up at the right time on the hike and the sheer volume of granite rock hanging over head was quite awe inspiring. I had to shoot this image to share the grandeur and majestic nature of Half Dome from the very ground level.
