Iceland Selfoss

One of the most incredible places I visited while in Iceland was Selfoss. This otherworldly place with a series of waterfalls and sections that gave me so many ideas for print images that I could of shot that for days and not just the 24hrs I was there.

Halfway in the the hike to the end I saw this vantage point and with the skies and light being pretty close to perfect I knew I had to take the shot now and not keep hiking closer to the falls. I wanted the falls to seem like ribbons of water so I used a slower shutter speed to capture a little movement in Selfoss. I came away with a print of selfoss that showed its power, size and the drama of these amazing falls.
