Icelandic Horse

While traveling around Iceland one can not escape seeing countless paddocks with these majestic beasts standing in whatever Icelandic weather give them.

On a couple of occasions I stopped to try and photograph them, each time not having much luck. While they seemed very approachable photographing them in the right light was not that easy.

One last attempt and I did manage to capture this one amazing looking beast walk right up to me and present a side on view semi backlit with its mane glowing in the late evening sun.
