Queensland Mangroves

Driving up to Port Douglas along Captan Cook Hwy this magical scene unfolded just around a bend in the highway and I had to stop and capture this scene.

The sun shimmering off the the low tidal pools, the bare mangroves, blue skies and in the distance Cape Tribulation and the World Famous and Heritage listed Daintree National Park. A perfect Far Northern Queensland scene.
