Rex Smeal Park Port Douglas

Early morning wake up well be dawn and so much easier when you are in the tropics. I woke around 5am and the temperature was already 23 degrees. packing my bag I walked down to Rex Smeal Park from my motel unit.

With the signs of first light and no one around I positioned myself pretty much centre of the park and started capturing the light as it became brighter and brighter.

My last series of images produced the best shot of the morning glow over the coconut palms that line Rex Smeal Park in Port Douglas what a gorgeous way to start the day, perfect.
