Rockpool Karijini National Park

Within the stunning narrow gorges that make up Karijini National Park lie many small Karijini Rockpool. With this particular image I chose to get as far over a small waterfall as I could so I was pretty much directly over the rockpool, then I waited for the suns reflection of the red rock walls to reflect into the rockpool.

The contrast of smooth running water through the hard but polished rocks and gentle reflection of the afternoon sun made this capture possible. An intimate look at one of Karijini National Park rockpools
