Sand Harbor Lake Tahoe

Lake Tahoe nestled in the Sierra Nevada is a fresh water lake. One a great glacier in the last ice age now it is a pristine lake with cool clear waters and stunning visitas at almost every point along the ring road.
Here I stopped at Sand Harbor to take in the approaching storm clouds giving us a very dramatic yet peaceful end a day on the lake.
