Turquoise Coastline Thistle Cove

A stunning aerial view of Thistle Cove in Esperance, located inside Cape Le Grand National Park. 

The vivid blues come from the incredibly clear Southern Ocean water and shallow sandy seabed. Ultra-fine, squeaky white sand, which gives that bright, almost glowing shoreline Esperance is famous for and the warm-toned rock formations framing the cove are ancient granite outcrops worn by time are typical of this coastline. The bay is relatively sheltered, so waves roll in softly making it a calm and tranquil place to swim.

The transition from deep aqua to pale shoreline and brilliant white sands makes this place so special.
